WordScout's searches run entirely in your own browser. The letters and patterns you type are never sent to our servers, never stored, and never shared. There are no user accounts on this site.

What we never collect

• The letters, patterns or words you search for.
• The results shown to you — they are computed on your device.
• Names, email addresses or accounts — we have no sign-up.

What is collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and reliability, and serves the word-list file when your browser requests it. We do not use this to build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not sell personal information.

Cookies and advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and you can control cookies in your browser settings at any time. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

Children
